Farmak’s Director for Corporate Communications is among best GR managers of Ukraine

Yevheniia Piddubna, Director for Corporate Communications of Farmak, was included in the list of the country’s best GR* managers compiled by the prestigious magazine “TOP-100. Ratings of the Largest”.

GR specialists should primarily focus on establishing communication between business and the authorities for the joint and mutually beneficial development of the country. With a view to highlight the importance of the profession and present its most successful representatives, GR specialists were singled out in a separate rating this year.

According to the magazine’s website,

“Throughout 2021, GR managers not only stood up for the position of their companies, but also defended the interests of the industry as a whole. Due to the support of our magazine’s ranking nominees, many progressive bills were passed and obsolete departmental acts were abolished during the year. Several new laws have improved the business environment in the country and brought the domestic regulatory framework significantly closer to the world’s best practices.”

The authors of the rating further noted that GR specialists not only focus on their immediate activities, but also implement large-scale environmental initiatives such as projects related to sustainable development, climate and environmental preservation, industrial waste management and improving industrial safety. This trend is expected to further continue, for example, GR specialists have many plans for 2022 aimed at improving the national legislation, enhancing the state tax policy, harmonising regulations with EU practice, creating favourable conditions for market development and implementing cutting-edge technologies.

Farmak has been the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market leader for over 10 years**. Yevheniia Piddubna joined the team in 2020 and has already made a significant contribution to the Company’s GR. Yevheniia Piddubna is involved in the development of the “Healthcare Strategy of Ukraine until 2030” project as a representative of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs (SUP). Her achievements include successful industry support of such initiatives as online trade of medicinal products, patent reform in the healthcare system, initiation of revision of the terms and conditions of the Association Agreement with the EU on harmonisation of legislation on medicinal products circulation and mutual recognition of respective inspections and audits, promotion of the work of the SUP healthcare committee etc.
