In the first seven months of 2025, 880 doctors from across Ukraine visited the production site of Farmak, the leading pharmaceutical company in the country. Among the guests were cardiologists, surgeons, urologists, ophthalmologists, therapists, otolaryngologists, pulmonologists, anesthesiologists, endocrinologists, neurologists, gastroenterologists, gynecologists, dermatologists, infectious disease specialists, family doctors, and other healthcare professionals. They came from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kropyvnytskyi, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Lviv, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, and many other cities and communities across the country.
During the visits, the doctors were introduced to the operation of the facilities producing injectable and infusion medicines, solid dosage forms (including tablets, capsules, sachets, and dragees), and also toured the laboratories of the Quality Control Department—of which Farmak has seven. The guests were able to follow the complete cycle of medicine production: from the precise dosing of the active ingredient and the manufacturing process to the thorough quality testing of finished products and packaging.
“A high level of technology, meticulous quality control, and an inspiring experience. My colleagues and I were impressed by the scale of production,” said Iryna Odukha, endocrinologist from Obukhiv.
“It is very gratifying to see that a Ukrainian pharmaceutical company fully meets European GMP standards. I am proud of our professionals. Ukrainian means the best,” noted Yulia Sharupych, cardiologist from Kyiv.
Farmak is the leader of Ukraine’s pharmaceutical industry. Its product portfolio includes more than 450 medicines. The company’s production sites and quality control laboratories fully comply with European GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards, ensuring high efficacy, safety, and consistent quality of its products. Farmak’s medicines are exported to more than 60 countries worldwide, including the UAE, Denmark, Israel, Poland, the United Kingdom, China, and many others.
In 2025, Farmak celebrates its 100th anniversary, continuing to contribute to the advancement of pharmaceuticals. The Farmak Group is now preparing to open a new manufacturing site in Spain.
