The pharmaceutical company Farmak has been included in the ranking of businesses that provide the greatest support to Ukrainians during the war, published by Focus.
“In times of war, reliable support from businesses has become a vital element of community resilience. Focus has compiled the most notable cases of large-scale assistance in 2025,” the publication notes.
Farmak, together with the Zhebrivski Family Foundation, continuously supports medical and educational institutions and contributes to the preservation of cultural heritage. Since the start of the war in 2014, the company has systematically supported the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since 2023, it has also been running a rehabilitation program for severely wounded soldiers at a private clinic in Kyiv.
The company is open to employing veterans and maintains constant communication with colleagues serving on the front line. Farmak provides them with equipment, vehicles, and military gear. All employees serving in the Armed Forces continue to receive their salaries and medical insurance. The company’s legal department assists defenders with any legal matters. Upon returning to work, veterans are offered flexible schedules tailored to their individual needs. To support recovery, Farmak provides vouchers for health resorts and, when needed, arranges rehabilitation at a private medical center.
The total amount of charitable aid provided by the company and the foundation since the beginning of the full-scale invasion has exceeded 380 million UAH.
The ranking also includes other companies such as Mondelez Ukraine, Kernel, Kyivstar, EPAM, DTEK, and others.
