Farmak Among the Top 30 Best Employers for Veterans in Ukraine

Farmak has been included in the ranking of the best employers for veterans, published by Forbes Ukraine in September 2025.

To compile the ranking, the publication surveyed nearly 240 companies. The questionnaires asked about the presence of veteran communities within companies, support for physical and mental recovery, accessibility for people with disabilities, retraining opportunities, and more. The second stage involved evaluation by an expert jury. The final list includes 30 companies with the highest scores.

At Farmak, a comprehensive veteran support program is in place. The company maintains constant communication with all mobilized employees to ensure timely and necessary assistance. Upon returning to work, every veteran is supported by a coordinator who helps with adaptation.

The program includes legal assistance on issues that may arise after military service, as well as medical and psychological rehabilitation within the framework of corporate health insurance. In particular, veterans can receive consultations from qualified psychologists to overcome stress and emotional strain, undergo annual preventive medical examinations, and consult with doctors of various specialties.

A key element of the program is physical rehabilitation, which, if needed, can be organized in a private medical center with funding from the Zhebrivski Family Foundation. To support recovery and well-being, veterans are also offered vouchers for health resorts and sanatoriums.

Additionally, the company provides a flexible work schedule. Within a three-month period, veterans may take up to six additional paid days off to resolve personal matters and may work according to an individually agreed schedule.

Farmak also places great emphasis on fostering a culture of support within the team. Lectures are organized for employees on how to communicate with colleagues returning from the front. Two dedicated guides have been developed: one for veterans — with a detailed list of support opportunities available from the company, and one for managers — with practical recommendations for effective interaction with veterans. These measures help ensure effective communication, promote mutual understanding, and create an atmosphere of trust, respect, and care.

Other companies included in the ranking are Avrora Multimarket, Astarta, DTEK, Kyivstar, MHP, PrivatBank, among others.
