Farmak CEO Named Among Forbes Top 25

Volodymyr Kostiuk, Chief Executive Officer of Farmak, has been named among the Top 25 CEOs in Ukraine who have demonstrated outstanding effectiveness during wartime. The ranking was compiled by Forbes Ukraine.

Together with an expert jury, the magazine assessed the executives’ professional competencies, leadership qualities, crisis management skills, and the financial performance of the companies they lead. Only CEOs of companies with revenues exceeding UAH 1 billion in 2024 and teams of at least 1,000 employees were eligible for inclusion.

The jury consisted of experts from leading recruitment and consulting firms, including Odgers Berndtson Ukraine, Brain Source International Ukraine, Ward Howell Ukraine, Boyden Ukraine, Korn Ferry Ukraine, Heidrick & Struggles, and Apple Consulting.

The Top 25 list features leaders of companies representing various sectors of Ukraine’s economy — pharmaceutical manufacturing, energy, logistics, food production, telecommunications, agriculture, and banking. Collectively, the companies represented in the ranking employ nearly 270,000 people and generate a combined revenue of UAH 1.4 trillion.

Volodymyr Kostiuk has led Farmak since 2018. Under his leadership, the company has maintained its position as the leader of the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market and continues to expand its export capabilities. Each year, Farmak invests over USD 15 million in research and development, enabling the company to consistently bring modern and effective medicines to market.

The ranking also includes executives from companies such as Aurora, McDonald’s, Kyivstar, DTEK, WOG, and others.
