To mark International Book Giving Day, celebrated on February 14, Farmak donated book sets to 100 district libraries across the Kyiv region. In total, the libraries received 2,000 new titles for children and adults.
Each box, assembled by the publishing house Samit-Knyha Publishing House, contained 20 contemporary Ukrainian books. The selection covered topics including the history and identity of Ukraine, the events of the war and state-building, fiction and poetry, as well as publications for children and young people — ranging from analytical and journalistic works to essays, poetry collections, books about the cultures of other countries, startups and IT, heartwarming children’s stories, and educational editions.
Among the donated books were “From Easter 2024 to Easter 2025” by Askold Lozynskyi, “Guardians of the Enchanted Forest” by Lesia Soniashna, “Sport Outside Politics” by Hennadii Nikolaichuk, “Essays on the History of Ukraine” by Ihor Smeshko, “IT Encyclopedia for Children” by Yevhen Maievskyi, and others.
The official handover ceremony took place on February 13 at the Pavlo Chubynsky Academy of Arts in Kyiv. The event was attended by library directors, representatives of the Kyiv Regional Council, and cultural figures.
The initiative is part of Farmak’s social projects aimed at supporting education, culture, and community development.
