The visit began with a guided tour of Farmak’s manufacturing facilities in Kyiv. During the presentation session, Farmak’s management briefed the IMF representatives on the company’s operations, its role in the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market, export activities, and investments in production and development.

Special attention was given to the challenges of doing business amid the full-scale war, the impact of macroeconomic factors on the industry, the new regulatory framework for the pharmaceutical market, as well as Ukraine’s European integration processes and alignment with EU standards.

The meeting concluded with an informal discussion and an exchange of views on future challenges and opportunities for Ukrainian businesses under the current conditions.
