The business publication Focus has released its ranking of the 45 best employers in Ukraine, which includes Farmak — the country’s leading pharmaceutical manufacturer.
In 2025, the ranking covered 15 sectors of the economy, with the top companies selected from a pool of 142 contenders. The evaluation was carried out by leading experts in HR, business, and recruitment.
Key assessment criteria included official employment, competitive salaries, career development opportunities, corporate training, student programs, veteran support initiatives, and employee feedback.
In Ukraine, the Farmak team consists of nearly 3,000 people. The company consistently invests in employee well-being — from comprehensive health insurance programs to regular salary increases, training, and opportunities for professional growth.
“The main takeaway of 2025 is that the labour market has become more human-centric, more expensive, and more technologically advanced. The workforce is shrinking, creating structural shortages. In these conditions, the companies that win are those that combine competitive salaries with inclusion, technology, and trust in their employees. Today, the power in the market belongs to people, and successful businesses are those that bring together resilience, innovation, and care for their teams,” the publication notes.
The ranking also includes companies such as Ajax Systems, DTEK, Kyivstar, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, and others.
