Farmak, the largest pharmaceutical manufacturer in Ukraine, showcased its product portfolio at the 27th annual international exhibition of medical innovations Medinex 2025, held in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The event gathered around 80 companies from Azerbaijan, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Poland, and other countries. Medinex serves as a platform for presenting medical equipment, pharmaceutical products, laboratory technologies, and for fostering international cooperation.
Farmak also took part in the panel discussion “From Dialogue to Cooperation: Pharmaceutical Opportunities of Ukraine and Azerbaijan.” The discussion featured Tahir Suleymanov, President of the Azerbaijan Pharmacists Association; Mykhailo Radutskyi, Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Public Health, Medical Care, and Medical Insurance; Viktor Liashko, Minister of Health of Ukraine; Edem Adamanov, Deputy Minister; Yevheniya Piddubna, Corporate Communications Director at Farmak; and Oksana Plotnikova, Strategic Development Director at Biopharma.
The participants discussed opportunities to expand export potential and remove trade barriers, deepen cooperation in pharmaceutical production and supply, strengthen technology exchange, and other key collaboration areas. Farmak has been operating in Azerbaijan for more than 25 years. Among its key export products are an injectable solution used to prevent thrombosis and treat cardiovascular diseases, as well as a sedative medicinal product.
The company is committed to further developing its business in the region and is exploring new joint project opportunities with Azerbaijani partners.
