On 20 November, the organizers of the International Brilliance Awards 2026 (London) published the list of global companies whose projects reached the finals. Among them is the Ukrainian pharmaceutical company Farmak. Farmak’s projects were recognized as the best in three categories simultaneously: Employee Engagement, Recruitment & Retention, and Corporate Wellness.
The finalists include global brands such as DHL Global Forwarding, HSBC UK, Lenovo, Allianz SE, General Mills, AstraZeneca Kazakhstan, as well as well-known Ukrainian companies Kernel and Metinvest. Farmak is the only company representing the Ukrainian pharmaceutical sector.
The International Brilliance Awards is a prestigious international prize designed to recognize achievements, innovations, and leadership in areas such as business, marketing, HR, internal communications, and more. It brings together leading organizations and experts from around the world to honor those who set new standards of efficiency, creativity, and managerial thinking, resulting in tangible change and measurable outcomes. The award has existed for over ten years and receives hundreds of applications from different countries each year.
In the Employee Engagement category, Farmak presented the project “We Are Here. We Are Grateful. We Act.”, which demonstrates the transformation of corporate culture during the war, including the launch of a volunteer movement supporting employees serving on the frontlines, charity fairs, care for wounded soldiers undergoing rehabilitation, blood donation campaigns, and more.
In the Recruitment & Retention category, the company’s HR team was recognized for its strategy focused on developing young professionals and collaborating with universities, which helps attract new talent. In the Corporate Wellness category, the jury highlighted Farmak’s comprehensive approach to supporting its team despite the war.
“Participation in international competitions is an opportunity to show how Ukrainian companies can operate even under extremely challenging conditions. In peaceful countries, HR and other initiatives are built on stability. We work in the reality of war, where there is a shortage of staff, emotional exhaustion, and constant threats to life… We strive to build systematic solutions for our team, support people, and foster a culture that helps them hold on. It is important for the world to see such cases,” said Viktoriia Kondrashykhina, HR Director of Farmak.
This is Farmak’s second significant international achievement. Last year, the company won in the Business Culture Awards 2024, where it was recognized in the category “Best Employee Wellness Initiative.”
The winners of the International Brilliance Awards 2026 will be announced in January 2026.
