Farmak ranked first among pharmaceutical companies in the annual “Best Employer 2026” study conducted by the agency UGEN. The company was selected by 79% of the surveyed students and young professionals in the “Pharmaceuticals” category.
UGEN released the study results on October 30. Farmak emerged as the leader in the “Pharmaceuticals” category, significantly outperforming other companies in the sector. Acino, part of Arcera, took second place (30%), followed by Organosyn in third (29%)*.
UGEN is an employer branding agency operating in both the Ukrainian and international markets. Its annual study identifies the most attractive employers according to students and young professionals. The 2026 survey was conducted online via Typeform among students and graduates of Ukrainian higher education institutions, with 2,280 respondents participating.
For Farmak, engagement with young people begins long before their first day on the job. The company collaborates with universities, helping students explore their future profession while still pursuing their studies—through visits to production facilities and laboratories, interactions with experts, participation in scientific projects, and practical training or internships.
To this end, Farmak develops a variety of educational and career initiatives, including Career Days, Farmak_Lab, “Level Up” online meetings, “In Focus: Farmak” webinars, the pHarma Challenge case championship, and specialized lectures. One of the major events is the annual “PRO Future” educational forum, which, in 2026, brought together nearly 200 participants from across Ukraine.
The company places special emphasis on practical experience. During the 2025–2026 academic year, 102 students completed internships at Farmak’s production facilities and laboratories. In 2026 alone, 216 students visited the company as part of 18 organized tours. This provides an opportunity to see modern pharmaceutical technologies firsthand and gain a better understanding of how university-acquired knowledge is applied in a real-world professional environment.
For many young people, their introduction to Farmak evolves into a professional career. In 2025–2026, the company hired 163 young professionals aged 19–25, accounting for 32% of all new hires during that period.
Farmak remains committed to expanding its collaboration with educational institutions, creating opportunities for young people to gain practical experience, realize their potential, and build a professional future in Ukraine. After all, supporting young talent today is an investment in the future of the Ukrainian pharmaceutical industry.
