The name of the dermatological drug Mometasone was changed to Moleskin

Farmak has changed the name of Mometasone (active ingredient: mometasone furoate), a drug for treatment of skin allergies, to Moleskin. The medication is available in the form of cream and ointment.

This drug is well-known among dermatologists and patients with skin allergy. It was the first generic copy of the original mometasone furoate marketed in Ukraine. Since 2007 the number of people using this medication has been growing year after year (the drug enjoys substantial increase in the number of packs sold). Moleskin was tested at 10 dermatology centers across Ukraine. It’s the only generic drug which showed the full conformity of clinical effects to the original drug during studies.
