Farmak JSC is going to invest 638 million UAH this year on modernization of production. This is 32% more than in 2017.
“Today, in order to be a leader, it is necessary to be constantly improving, to introduce innovative technologies. That is how Farmak operates. For many years, we have reinvested the lion’s share of our income into our company, and this amount is increasing from year to year. Over the past 7 years, we have invested 2.8 billion UAH, which is 184 million US dollars, into the modernization of production. In 2018, we are going to increase our investments by more than a third compared to 2017. The Solid Medicinal Products – 2 Project will remain the key one for this year. The new production site is based on German and Italian processing equipment. After it has been put into operation, our total manufacturing capacity of tableted medicinal products should double to 3 billion dosage units a year. The company will also continue to invest in the modernization and upgrading of active production, information technology, laboratories of the quality control department and biotechnology laboratory. We pay special attention to the development of new drugs. This year we intend to spend 290 million UAH on research and development”, Filya Zhebrovska, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Farmak JSC said, sharing her plans.
Farmak JSC invested 486 million UAH into development and modernization in 2017.
The Solid Medicinal Products – 2 Project became the key one. The company spent 149.6 million UAH on its implementation last year. In total, Farmak JSC invested 202 million UAH into technical re-equipment.
Expenses on modernization and reconstruction totaled 213 million UAH. 43.8 million UAH out of this sum is spent on reequipment of research and control laboratories.
Farmak also steered 63.9 million UAH into development of the IT infrastructure.
