The Simulation Center at the P. L. Shupyk National University of Health Care of Ukraine has received a valuable donation from the Zhebrivskyi Family Charitable Foundation — modern training equipment for practicing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills, valued at over UAH 240,000.
The donation includes:
This equipment is essential for the training of both medical students and practicing healthcare professionals. These high-fidelity manikins allow learners to safely and realistically practice life-saving first aid skills, which can make a critical difference in emergency situations.
“These materials are extremely valuable for our center, as they provide realistic training opportunities for mastering essential skills. The simulator with a built-in assessment panel is particularly important. We have never had a manikin like this before. Its key feature is the sensor-equipped panel, which shows in real time how accurately actions are being performed — something that’s not always easy to judge externally. We plan to use it both for training and examinations,” said Svitlana Dziuniak, a specialist at the P. L. Shupyk Simulation Center.
Knowledge of first aid can save lives.
Such equipment is in short supply across educational institutions, making this donation a significant contribution to the training and preparedness of future and current medical professionals.
