The pharmaceutical company Farmak received the Investment Ambassador award from the Federation of Employers of Ukraine (FRU). In general, Farmak’s investment in development in 2022 amounted to about UAH 1 billion, it includes research and development of new medicines, modernization and construction of new production facilities, arrangement of storage facilities for personnel, etc. In 2023, investments in the development of the company increased and amounted to about UAH 1.5 billion.
The Federation also noted the contribution to the development of Ukraine of such companies as MHP, Kyivstar, Philip Morris Ukraine and other leaders of the domestic market.
“Today, an investment ambassador is a Ukrainian and international business that is already operating and continues to operate in Ukraine, continues to preserve and create jobs, pay taxes and support the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” noted the FRU.
The awarding of the companies took place as part of the Ukrainian Employers Annual Meeting 2023, at which the FRU brought together the heads of about 60 Ukrainian and international companies. This time the meeting place for the visionaries of the Federation was the pharmaceutical company Farmak.
The event participants not only discussed important issues of restoration and challenges for Ukrainian business, but also visited the Farmak production site during an excursion. Thus, guests were able to see the entire process of making medicine: from preparing raw materials to packaging products.
