Farmak’s Legal Department Recognized as the Best in Competition Law

Farmak’s Legal Department won in the category of “Best Legal Department in Competition Law” according to the “Leading Legal Departments of Ukraine – Best Legal Departments 2026” study. Additionally, Yuliia Teslia, Head of the Rights Protection and Litigation Department at Farmak, was recognized as the best in-house counsel in the field of intellectual property.

The study results were announced on November 3 in Kyiv during the 14th Annual In-House Counsel Forum. The study, which has been conducted since 2013, is organized by the publication *Yurydychna Praktyka* (Legal Practice).

The study identified leading legal departments and top in-house counsel across specific economic sectors and areas of legal practice, while also recognizing legal teams based on overall performance metrics.

Evaluation was based on both qualitative and quantitative performance indicators of legal departments, as well as votes from the professional community—including corporate lawyers and representatives from law firms. Participants identified the best legal departments, in-house counsel, and heads of legal functions. Survey results were supplemented with information from open sources.

This professional recognition of Farmak’s legal team confirms its expertise and vital role in the company’s development. Amidst international business expansion, digital transformation, and stringent regulatory requirements, legal support serves as an integral component in the execution of the company’s strategic projects. Farmak’s Legal Directorate encompasses three key areas: rights protection and litigation, legal support for company operations, and intellectual property protection. The Legal Directorate is headed by Dmytro Taranchuk, who has been with Farmak since 2000 and has led the company’s legal department for over 20 years.

Other winners of the “Best Legal Departments 2026” recognition include the legal departments of DTEK Energy, Kernel, Kyivstar, Aurora, and others.
