Korrespondent, the Ukrainian authoritative media outlet, has recently summed up the results of its evaluation and presented the annual rating of the best Ukrainian CEOs: 50 Business Captains. 2021 Rating of Ukrainian CEOs. Volodymyr Kostiuk, Chief Executive Officer of Farmak, has been included in the rating.
The jury team of leading economic journalists and experts evaluated the participants according to parameters such as the CEO public image and his/her personal contribution to the company’s results. The long list of the rating included 111 names, the top 50 of which being identified.
It is worth noting that Ukrainian business had significant financial losses during the pandemic. However, strategically sound management and a lot of effective decisions initiated by business leaders helped prevent the crisis. Such companies were included in the Korrespondent rating.
The rating experts noted Farmak as the largest Ukrainian pharmaceutical manufacturer and one of the key Ukrainian exporters. Thus, according to the results within 10 months of 2021, the Company’s exports increased by 8% compared to the same period last year. The Company currently exports its products to more than 40 countries. This year, the export map has expanded to include Switzerland, Brazil, Indonesia and Bolivia. Moreover, in 2021 the Company launched an office in the United Arab Emirates and a representative office in Vietnam. In addition, in 2021 the Company started to build an innovative R&D centre in Kyiv, where modern medicinal products will be developed, modernized manufacturing sites and installed the longest packaging line and significantly expanded its product portfolio with new medicinal products.
