Farmak JSC, the leading pharmaceutical company in Ukraine, has defended the right to manufacture Chondrasil.
In 2010 Nizhpharm, a Russian pharmaceutical company has filed a lawsuit demanding to stop manufacture and marketing of Chondrasil and revoke Farmak’s certificate of registration of Chondrasil/Хондрасил brand and prohibit the Ukrainian company from using this brand name in its future marketing communications.
On 14 November 2012 the Supreme Commercial Court has ruled to deny the plaintiff’s complaint demanding to ban the sales of Farmak-manufactured Chondrasil.
