On 25 November 2014, Farmak pharmaceutical company hosted a joint meeting of the management team of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine and the member companies of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Ukraine, with participation of the officials from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the State Administration of Ukraine on Medicinal Products.
The meeting was to discuss the readiness of Ukrainian pharmaceutical industry for Ukraine’s accession to the EU.
At the meeting, the participants discussed the prospects for cooperation in the area of development, implementation and manufacturing of Ukrainian medicines, and focused on the prospects of the pharmaceutical sector of Ukrainian health care industry, namely, quite distinct possibility for smooth entering into the worldwide pharmaceutical market.
The meeting participants had the opportunity to visit Farmak laboratory facilities, including the recently launched Pharmaceutical Technologies Center. Farmak's experts introduced to the participants the practices applicable to development and quality assurance of the medicinal products.
The members of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Ukraine are Farmak JSC, Borshchahivskiy CPP PJSC SIC, Interchem DLC, Yuriya-Farm LLC, and Kusum Pharm LLC.
