On Saturday, April 20, 2013 about one hundred Farmak’s employees together with their families took part in All-Ukrainian cleaning campaign “Let’s make Ukraine clean”. Farmak’s employees did Druzhby Narodiv park and the forest belt near Avtozavodska station in Kyiv city.
From year to year in cities and towns the number of green areas reduces and the remaining green areas are disarranged and littered with rubbish. For three years on end on National Environment Day the participants of campaign “Let’s make Ukraine clean” go to the parks and public gardens in the towns and cities to remove the rubbish remaining after winter. This year about 130 thousands Ukrainians in 200 cities and towns of Ukraine took part in All-Ukrainian cleaning campaign. About one hundred Farmak’s employees with their families joined those concerned about the cleanness on the native land.
Dina Nemyrovych, Farmak’s Strategy Director, says, “Farmak JSC acts as a campaign partner in Kyiv city within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility strategy. Besides that our employees took part in cleaning of the parks in Kyiv city, we also contributed to, that the other volunteers could get all necessary cleaning implements. Such campaign is not only a good reason to develop the citizens’ ecology awareness but it is an element of our own corporate culture“.
Campaign “Let’s make Ukraine clean” was held under the aegis of the UNO as a part of global project “Let's Do It, World! wherein 96 countries are involved.
