Farmak, a Ukrainian pharmaceutical company, has become a strategic investor in the Ukrainian healthtech startup Tayra AI, which develops AI-powered solutions to automate clinical workflows in healthcare facilities.
Tayra AI has successfully closed its pre-seed investment round, with participation from Farmak and several angel investors from the company’s management team. The parties have not disclosed the amount of the investment.
Despite the challenges of wartime, the investment was made in a Ukrainian company. The partnership is built on confidence in Ukrainian developers, the Ukrainian legal framework, and a shared vision for the future of digital healthcare.
The investment is part of Farmak’s strategy to support promising Ukrainian healthcare technology solutions. In addition to financial backing, the company will contribute its industry expertise, in-depth knowledge of the healthcare system, and support Tayra AI as it scales its product in Ukraine and internationally.
How Tayra AI Works
Tayra AI is developing a digital AI assistant for healthcare providers that automates a significant share of medical documentation. During patient consultations, the system analyzes conversations between physicians and patients and automatically generates the required medical records, significantly reducing time spent on administrative tasks.
The solution can be easily adapted to different medical specialties, languages, and national healthcare systems. Its Ukrainian-language model understands natural physician–patient conversations, including colloquial speech, mixed-language expressions (surzhyk), medical jargon, and abbreviations.
