Farmak has received the RESILIENCE MARK 2026 award for energy resilience and environmental modernization.

The pharmaceutical company Farmak has received the RESILIENCE MARK 2026 award for its consistent efforts to strengthen the energy and environmental resilience of its production operations. The award was presented on October 22 during the “Responsibility That Has Value” ESG Leaders Assembly, organized by the ESG Liga PAEW and the Office of Sustainable Solutions.

The RESILIENCE MARK is a new professional distinction, awarded for the first time this year to Ukrainian companies for practical solutions that foster business resilience, support development, and implement responsible business practices. Key selection criteria included the proven outcomes of implemented solutions, their effectiveness in real-world conditions, their significance for both business and society, the ability to adapt to challenges, a systematic approach, and the value of the experience for other companies.

Other recognized companies include Ukrenergo, Kyivstar, Metinvest, DTEK, Danone Ukraine, and SoftServe, among others.

Farmak was recognized for implementing solutions that ensure the continuous production of medicines, improve resource efficiency, and reduce environmental impact—even amidst a full-scale war.
Furthermore, Farmak’s environmental initiatives extend beyond its own facilities. Through the “Dispose of Medicines – Save the Planet” project—a joint initiative with the “Apteka Dobroho Dnia” (Pharmacy of a Good Day) chain—over 6.7 tons of expired medicines collected from the public have been gathered and sent for safe disposal.

The RESILIENCE MARK serves as recognition of Farmak’s systematic efforts, in which environmental modernization and operational resilience complement one another. By investing in modern technologies, energy independence, and the responsible use of resources, the company is laying a solid foundation for future sustainable development.
