Farmak has been named one of Ukraine’s top 50 employers for 2026, according to the business publication NV and Odgers Ukraine. As a leader in the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market, the company was recognized for its approach to supporting and developing its workforce.
This year, employers were evaluated across four key areas: support for veterans and their families, talent retention and development, diversity and inclusion, and assistance to employees during crises.
Farmak believes that for people to achieve high results, it is essential to create an environment where they feel secure, have opportunities for growth, and can rely on support.
To this end, the company has implemented a comprehensive “Wellbeing” program that addresses five dimensions of well-being: physical, psychological, financial, professional, and social.
Farmak offers medical insurance, annual health check-ups, access to psychological counseling, sports activities, and mental recovery programs. For the convenience of its staff, the company provides corporate transportation and flexible work schedules. Furthermore, Farmak regularly reviews salaries and offers financial support to employees facing difficult life circumstances.
At Farmak, employees can acquire new knowledge, build a career, explore different professional areas, and advance to leadership roles. This is supported by training programs, a talent pool system, and internal mobility initiatives.
“At Farmak, we fill up to 70% of our managerial vacancies from our internal talent pool.” “It is of fundamental importance to us that every employee has opportunities for professional development and career growth within the company. We have many examples of people who joined Farmak straight out of university, started their careers in entry-level positions, and today lead strategically important business areas and execute large-scale projects both in Ukraine and abroad,” says Viktoriia Kondrashikhina, HR Director at Farmak.
Special attention is given to colleagues returning from military service. Farmak strives to make their transition back to civilian life and work as comfortable as possible. Veterans can access support for physical rehabilitation, as well as legal and career counseling. Additionally, they are offered extra paid time off and a flexible work schedule during the first three months following their return.
Alongside Farmak, the ranking includes DTEK, PrivatBank, Kyivstar, Vodafone Ukraine, MHP, SoftServe, Uklon, Coca-Cola HBC Ukraine, and other leading companies.
