The increase is expected from sales both in Ukraine and on export markets. This year, according to the Company’s forecasts, the share of exports will be 33%. In 2017, Farmak’s share of sales on foreign markets was 31%.
According to the results of the first half of 2018, Farmak JSC’s export volume increased by 13% due to the increase in supplies to Uzbekistan by 20%, Belarus by 124%, Kazakhstan by 13%, Kyrgyzstan by 16%, as compared with the first half of 2017. At the same time, the volume of sales to the Russian Federation remained at the level of 2017.
“We strive to increase the Company’s export potential, while retaining our leadership positions in Ukraine. This will help increase production volumes, create new jobs, increase the amount of taxes paid. For Farmak, the EU and Asian markets remain the priority”, said Volodymyr Kostiuk, Executive Director of Farmak JSC.
Overall, in 2017, exports amounted to USD 70 million. At year-end, Poland, Uzbekistan and Russia prevailed in the foreign sales structure. In particular, sales to Poland amounted to 28.3% of Farmak JSC’s total exports, to Uzbekistan – 20.9%, and to Russia – 16.7%.
