Farmak staff have held the 3rd campaign “I work one day for the army” dedicated to the Defender of Ukraine Day. About UAH 800 thousand were raised during the event.
These funds will be used to purchase and equip mobile module cabins for the special detachment of Mariupol maritime security of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, which patrols the borders of Ukraine in the Sea of Azov.
This is the third time that Farmak JSC holds such charity campaign. “I work one day for the army” was held at the company in 2015 and 2016. Due to goodwill and conscientious position of the employees, over UAH 1 million were raised. The funds collected by Farmak staff were used for purchase of mobile cabins for border guards, as well as their equipment with necessary furniture, air conditioners, refrigerators and food supplies.
Overall, since 2014, Farmak Charity Foundation provided assistance worth over UAH 6 million.
These funds were allocated for the purchase of body armor, military uniforms, footwear, personal protective equipment, first aid kits with medicines required in field conditions, etc. In addition, assistance was provided for the purchase of modern equipment for improving the logistic base of military units: night vision devices (thermal imaging devices), generators, spare parts for repair of military equipment, cooling boxes, chainsaws, tents, sleeping bags, etc. Medicines are supplied on a regular basis.
