Principles of Resilience was created to mark Farmak’s 100th anniversary and tells the story of the company’s journey from a small synthetic pharmaceutical plant founded in Kyiv in 1925 to an international pharmaceutical company. It covers different periods in Farmak’s development and explores the key management decisions that have shaped the company’s growth and transformation. The book brings together examples of approaches to doing business, overcoming crises and pursuing long-term development, alongside personal stories and experiences of Farmak’s team. Through the key milestones of the company’s century-long history, the book highlights the principles that have enabled Farmak to grow, navigate crises and transformations, and continue operating through some of the most challenging periods in Ukraine’s history.
