A new product of the Lipster drug line for the treatment of herpes on the lips, Lipster Mint, has appeared in the Farmak portfolio.
“Lipster Mint” is an antiviral drug with an additional antipruritic effect. The composition includes acyclovir 5% and menthol, which provides antipruritic and cooling effects, affecting the main symptoms that worry during the disease – pain, itching in the affected area. Produced in tubes of 5 g of cream.
The cream is applied 5 times a day at approximately 4-hour intervals, except at night. It is important to start treatment as soon as possible at the beginning of the infection, preferably during the initial period of the disease or at the stage of erythema. You can start treatment in the later stages – papules or blisters.
Treatment lasts at least 4 days. If heaking is not apparent, it can be extended up to 10 days.
