On Sunday, February 24, the final matches within UFAM League 3rd season (Kyiv Open Futsal Championship among health care institutions) took place. The tournament which started at the end of 2018 was ended with the great sport and health event.
12 teams participated in the competition this year, including the players from the Cardiology Institute, Kyiv City Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medical Care, Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 6, Dobrobut, National Medical University, Ukrainian Military Medical Academy, Feofaniya, Sona Pharm, Team of Stomatologists, Farmak and others.
The final tough match between Farmak team and the doctors from Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 6 and was won by the latter.
Farmak regularly supports sport as a basis for a healthy lifestyle, and its employees actively go in for sports. “It is great that our football team came through to the final and worthily competed for the gold medal. Farmak congratulates the doctors’ team on victory and thanks for friendly and healthy sports atmosphere throughout those months. Developing ourselves we develop society around us”, said Pavlo Oleksiichuk, Head of Farmak Trade Union.
“The Ukrainian Football Association of Medical Doctors traditionally started this year with futsal championship which united more than a hundred of doctors and gave an opportunity to keep an eye on tough football matches for several months. We are glad that Farmak has been a partner of the sports competitions initiated by our organization for several consecutive years. By the way, Farmak’s football team came through to the final and fought to win the cup this year. This proves that the company has a good corporate spirit which is undoubtedly one of the reasons of the leading position of Farmak in the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market”, said Oleksandr Balytskyi, Head of the Ukrainian Football Association of Medical Doctors.
