Official statement by Farmak regarding media reports about the possible production of a “pill pack” for military first aid kits

On May 11, 2026, the website “Dilova Stolytsia” published a blog post by Valerii Shcherbyna, an analyst at the NGO “Institute for Infrastructure Market Monitoring,” in which Farmak was mentioned in the context of the possible production of a so-called “pill pack” for individual military first aid kits.

Farmak officially states that it has not confirmed to either the Ministry of Health of Ukraine or any other government authorities the possibility of manufacturing the specified packaging format.

Farmak does not have the technological capabilities to manufacture medicinal products in a format containing 1–2 tablets in a separate blister pack. In addition, such production is economically impractical for the company.

Furthermore, Farmak’s product portfolio does not include Moxifloxacin 400 mg or Levofloxacin 500 mg in tablet form, which the article identifies as components that should be included in the “pill pack.”

We urge media representatives to thoroughly verify information before disseminating it, even if it appears in personal blog posts, to seek official comments from primary sources, and to adhere to the standards of responsible journalism.
