Hospitals require primary support as they are not yet equipped with the devices necessary for effective treatment of COVID-19.
The Zhebrivski Family Charitable Foundation paid for and now is expecting the delivery of three ORICARE V8600 lung ventilators (manufactured in the USA), purchased Acclarix LX8 digital ultrasound diagnostic system and other equipment for intensive care wards to be delivered to the hospitals of Kyiv, Shostka in the Sumy Region and Ruzhyn in the Zhytomyr Region. This equipment will be useful in emergency care, life support and intensive care for patients.
17 hospitals in different regions of Ukraine, including Chasiv Yar military hospital in the Donetsk Region, received the necessary protective equipment from the Foundation; namely, protective suits, protective medical masks, medical gloves, FFP2 and FFP3 masks, goggles, disinfectants and medicines manufactured by Farmak.
In addition, the Foundation will sponsor making 4,000 protective suits for Ukrainian physicians using a special material that meets the European quality standards.
It is worth reminding that the All-Ukrainian Charitable Organization “The Zhebrivski Family Charitable Foundation” (successor to the Farmak Charitable Foundation) has allocated UAH 10 million to fight the spread of coronavirus disease.
