At the end of May 2021, FOCUS magazine published the rating of the best top managers in Ukraine. TOP 3 leaders of the pharmaceutical industry include the Chief Executive Officer of Farmak as a leader of the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market.
The journalists of the magazine have identified the most important markets for the Ukrainian economy, dividing them into 12 sectors: agricultural, financial, industry, energy and oil & gas, IT, retail, food industry, real estate, pharmaceuticals, car market, telecom, and alcohol market. Further, 30 industry experts and analysts have been interviewed. The respondents have analysed the longlist with candidates and scored them on the following criteria: popularity (publicity), achievement in office, reputation, and influence. The list includes 39 CEOs.
Volodymyr Kostiuk has been recognized as one of the best in the pharmaceutical industry. At year-end 2020, Farmak has fulfilled the set tasks and showed growth in the context of coronavirus crisis. This has been made possible by increasing exports and opening new markets. Today, the Company’s products are supplied to more than 30 countries in the EU, Central and South America, the CIS, the Middle East, Asia, etc., and the share of exports in the Company’s total sales is 29.6%. The strategic task for Volodymyr Kostiuk today is not to reduce the pace of development and increase the latter indicator to 40%. Farmak is currently preparing for the FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) inspection to enter the U.S. market.
