The pharmaceutical industry drives the indicator of industrial production in Ukraine

The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade published industrial production figures for January-July 2019. The cumulative industrial production indicator for January-July 2019 increased by 0.4% percentage points.

In the production of basic pharmaceutical products and preparations for this period, an increase of 14.6% is observed (-2.1% in July 2018). The reason for the increase in production is the growth of domestic and foreign demand, which is illustrated by the data of the State Fiscal Service.
