Filya Zhebrovska, the Chief Executive Officer of Farmak JSC, has been awarded a medal "For sacrifice and love for Ukraine" as recognition of her great support to family members of fallen ATO heroes. The awarding ceremony took place during a round table meeting of the Health Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Do not leave alone those in troubles. It is one of life's principles of Filya Zhebrovska. She has initiated establishment of the Farmak Charitable Foundation, which supported many hundred families in need for more than five years.
Filya Zhebrovska, Farmak CEO: "From the very first days of conflict in Donbas, our Foundation has been supporting soldiers who protect the borders of Ukraine. This conflict took many lives, leaving families without breadwinners. We could not be apart. In order to help such families, in February 2016 the Farmak Charitable Foundation joined the project "People Helping People". We have transferred 1.1 million hryvnas to its account. The funds were allocated to card accounts of family members who have lost their breadwinners. The award "For the Sacrifice and Love for Ukraine" was established by Ukrainian Orthodox Church in January 2015 with blessing of the Patriarch Filaret. It recognizes active citizenship, heroism, self-sacrifice displayed during the Revolution of Dignity, defense of Ukraine in the Donbass region and Crimea, as well as volunteering.
