According to voting by the Higher Rating Commission of the 2011 Rating of Good Taxpayers of Ukraine, Farmak JSC was ranked first in the rating of large companies operating in medical sphere.
The award ceremony for winners of the 2011 All-Ukrainian Rating of Good Taxpayers of Ukraine was held on 24 May 2012 at the International Center for Culture and Arts.
For your reference: the annual All-Ukrainian Rating of Good Taxpayers was established by the Association of Ukrainian Taxpayers to boost the role and authority of taxpayer in life of the nation and increase the general culture of paying taxes.
The all-Ukrainian rating is held in two rounds: first round at the regional and second at the national level.
This year, the rating featured 1072 companies from all regions of Ukraine. The national winners were chosen from among 338 companies that won the regional round.
In addition to completeness and timeliness of tax payments, the main criteria for selection of nominees included: the ratio of income tax amount paid to revenues received, average wages at the company, number of jobs, and implementation of social and charitable programs. No other existing nationwide contest has similar integral selection criteria that would prove how responsible and transparent a company is when it comes to fulfillment of its tax and social obligations.
