The final game of the Ukrainian Football Association of Physicians (UFAP) Indoor Football League 2018 took place on 4 March 2018 in Nauka-Sport Sports Complex. Pharmaceutical company Farmak JSC is partner to the UFAP Indoor Football League.
This year’s winner was the team of dentists; the team of Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital won the silver medal, and the team of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 6 became the bronze medalist.
“Considering the current unstable situation in the country, people need to channel their energy into peace and promote healthy lifestyle. We support this and believe that sport is a guarantee of health. We are happy to support physicians taking part in this competition. I am confident that every year the UFAP League will be more and more far-reaching and we are very glad to be part of it”, said Susana Khalilova, Marketing and Sales Director of Farmak JSC, during the ceremony.
Physicians from Zhytomyr, Dnipro, Lviv, Rivne, Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk and other cities took part in the UFAP Indoor Football League 2018. The UFAP Indoor Football League has become a wonderful place for the training and selection of healthcare specialists for the National Physicians’ Football Team of Ukraine, which participates in the annual World Cup and is considered one of the strongest teams in the world.
“UFAP Indoor Football League became a spectacular event both in the history of the Ukrainian Football Association of Physicians and in the sports life of the medical community of Kyiv and Ukraine. This year, both the number of teams, and the quality of the game increased. In my opinion, in addition to sport achievements, one of the most important results was that our UFAP family has been replenished by many new members. There have been new acquaintances and new professional ties. It is very pleasant that our partners from Farmak JSC have supported our active medical movement. I am positive that our cooperation will provide an opportunity to bring together the medical and pharmaceutical community, to improve public health in Ukraine, to introduce modern protocols and methods of treatment, as well as to promote healthy lifestyle both among doctors, and patients”, said Oleksandr Balytskyy, Candidate of Medical Science, Assistant Professor of the Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine of O. Bogomolets National Medical University.
