Several years ago, the pharmaceutical company Farmak launched a scholarship program to support Ukrainian youth who strive to develop in the field of pharmacy. In 2023, the eight best students of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, KNUTD, and NUPh received scholarships from Farmak.
The selection of scholarship holders was carried out on a competitive basis. To receive a scholarship, applicants must demonstrate their academic achievements, abilities, and desire for self-development. This year, 26 students from Kyiv universities who are studying in the specialty “pharmacy, industrial pharmacy” applied for participation in the program. The competition commission of the Farmak company selected eight scholarship holders from among them. They were assessed on the correctness of the application forms, the relevance of the research, the field of study, the level of English proficiency, motivation, and desire for self-development.
It should be noted that the Farmak scholarship project for students is an opportunity to receive financial support for 10 months of the academic year and motivation for development in the pharmaceutical industry. This year the company allocated 240 thousand UAH to support future workers in the pharmaceutical industry.
