The authoritative Forbes publication included Farmak Supervisory Board Chairman Filya Zhebrovska in its global “50 Over 50” list: EMEA 2022. The businesswoman was joined by actress Judi Dench, designer Donatella Versace, president of the European Central Bank Christine Lagarde and other prominent figures. However, Filya Zhebrovska is the only Ukrainian woman in the ranking.
50 Over 50 is Forbes’ annual list of the most distinguished women over 50. It includes indisputable figures who are changing the world and society with their brilliant ideas and experience – entrepreneurs, businesswomen, politicians, scientists, creators etc.
At Farmak, Filya Zhebrovska is responsible for strategic planning. She has devoted more than 37 years to the Company, during which time she has become one of the Company’s main visionaries and growth drivers.
“One of Ukraine’s most successful businesswomen, Filya Ivanivna Zhebrovska has helped bring Farmak to become one of the country’s largest exporters of pharmaceuticals. She served as the Company’s CEO from 1995, and since 2017 she has chaired its Supervisory Board,” the publication noted.
Forbes first presented last year’s 50 Over 50 list to prove that success has no geographical, age or any other restrictions. The 2021 list includes, among others, US Vice President Kamala Harris, General Motors Chairman and Director General Mary Barra, producer and writer of Grey’s Anatomy and Bridgerton, Shonda Rhimes.
