Every year, on the 2nd Thursday of November, many countries celebrate the World Quality Day.
It was first held in 1990 at the initiative of the European Organization for Quality (an independent non-profit association that brings together 40 national quality organizations in European countries) with the support of the United Nations. Subsequently, the week that includes this day was announced as the European Quality Week.
Farmak JSC takes a principled position in quality issues. The company has implemented and constantly improves the pharmaceutical quality system in accordance with current regulatory requirements (GMP, ISO and others) and the best international practices. Every year, the Company undergoes about 15 international inspections and audits.
Farmak’s 19 production sites are certified for compliance with the GMP by the State Service of Ukraine for Medicinal Products and Drugs Control; 14 production sites have GMP certificates issued by regulators of European countries (Croatia, Poland, Germany); systems compliant with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 22000, ISO 14000, OHSAS 18001 have been implemented and certified.
The system is intended to ensure and maintain the proper level of product quality and compliance with the requirements of current good practices in quality assurance, logistics, production, packaging and labeling, premises and equipment, quality control, development and research, as well as improvement of the company’s business processes.
