Farmak supported the conduct of the 25th Congress of Surgeons of Ukraine dedicated to the 100th anniversary since the birth of Academician O. Shalimov.
The 25th Congress of Surgeons of Ukraine, a scientific and practical forum of nation-wide significance, was held recently. The congress served as platform for exchanging experience by domestic and foreign specialists: general surgeons, cardiovascular surgeons, transplantologists, pediatric surgeons, plastic surgeons, combustiologists, and endocrinologists.
Farmak JSC was the main sponsor of the event and provided support for its conduct.

During the congress, plenary sessions dedicated to the treatment of gunshot injuries due to military actions; modern technologies of surgical correction of digestive pathologies; analysis of the current state of public surgical care and tasks to improve its organization; and consideration of organizational issues were held. The leading specialists in the field held sectional sessions on early postoperative complications; current state and problems of cardiovascular, pediatric, endocrine, bariatric, plastic surgery, combustiology, and transplantation.
