She has successfully studied the cellular and molecular mechanisms of pain and the nervous system in normal and pathological conditions in general.

He has a number of advances in semiconductor physics; he is one of the first in Ukraine to start studying graphene theory. He is also a professional translator of such important authors as Geoffrey Chaucer, Dante Alighieri, Walt Whitman and Rudyard Kipling. He has postgraduate students in both Physics and Translation Studies.
